What real chat apps add

Which chat app to pick? They're more alike than different for most tasks. Pick by:
which model brand you want to support; what files you need to upload; what your team already uses;
which one feels best to you. Switch any time — your prompts move with you.
First-run setting that's easy to miss
Every chat app has a "help improve our model" / "use my conversations for training" toggle. It's usually on by default. Decide it intentionally before you paste anything sensitive.

- Gemini: Activity → Gemini Apps Activity
Off = your chats aren't used to train future models. The trade-off: some features (memory, personalization) may be limited.
